Episode 13: Curtian Call

Tonight, January 21st, the freakshow is packing up its acting and moving on. After 13 episodes we have finally reached the final act. In case you missed the season finale, here is a recap. 

The Final Recap 

Dandy wants to sing show tunes for his performance. He of course is having a tantrum already. He is so worried about selling tickets, he blames it on the freaks. Dandy claims that the audience thinks that the freaks are boring. Paulie puts Dandy in his place, flat on his ass, and tells him he is boring and will never be a freak. 

Elsa makes it to the city of fame, Hollywood. Unfortunately she is having awful luck getting in contact with the man who could hire her. She slaps the receptionist when she was told to change her act. Micheal Beck helps her though, he is the junior vice president of casting and is also German. BOOM! She got an in. 

Dandy, oh Dandy. He is humming and then goes on a shooting rampage. But on the bright side I like his white pants with black pin stripes, classy look while you are killing people. And white, bold move will all that blood. Eve tries to stop him but ends up getting shot in the head like the rest of them. 

Desiree is the only one who seems to be in the clear, she was well hidden in her trailer. The twins were tied up but Dandy asks them to come with him. Jimmy, comes back to the freakshow and realizes things are strange. No Elsa, no anyone. Jimmy goes to where the stage is, all the freaks are strung across the floor leading to the stage.

Bette marries Dandy. He is super creepy to Dot. Very weird, but Bette is happy. They are already planning their babies. Desiree poisoned Dandy. He does after Desiree but Bette shoots him in the arm. DAMN! SHOTS FIRED! Jimmy then walks in and serves Dandy a meal, he passes out onto the floor. 

Dandy wakes up in a tank. Desiree says he has to complete a Hudini trick. He tries to persuade the twins to let him out but they deny him. They fill his take up, sit back and watch the show. He dies with his last words as, "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you". Standard reaction for Dandy. He did die as a star though.

The Elsa Mars Hour is now a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. She married Micheal Beck. She was doing a commercial and then has a meltdown about the words she has to say. She was bitching about the Halloween show and how she does not perform on Halloween. Elsa then meets up with long lost love who fixed her legs. Unfortunately he is dying and she will be alone.

Elsa's fame is cut short because a reporter found her film, the one where her legs were chopped off. She also gets word about all the freaks being killed. Elsa then changes her mind to perform on Halloween. MORDRAKE! MORDRAKE!

Elsa Mars Halloween Spooktacular! Desiree has a new family and man! Go girl, go. Jimmy is with the twins. They are pregnant and happy. Mordrake and Twisty make their appearance in this last episode, they show up to Elsa's performance. She is killed by Mordrake but she does not go with him. Elsa is taken back to the freakshow, Ma Petite is there, along with all the other freaks who were killed. This is the place where she preforms every night for a full house, as the headline. This is her heaven. 

Blood Bath

Blood Bath was episode 8 of FreakShow, unfortunately I have been very sick so I did not watch the latest episode. Because of that, I heard from a friend what happened so I am not writing a post about that episode. I will write one for tonight's episode which is at 9 p.m. Central time. 


So SORRY about this, crazy week being sick and now finals for college.

Test of Strength

Hello all! Kaylee Swearingen just updating anyone who is still following American Horror Story FreakShow with November 19th's episode, now a break until December 3rd! What will we do without all the death and plot twists!?

Quick Rewind 

Bette is out to breakhearts tonight, but like we learned in Frozen nothing is stronger than sisterly love! Jimmy comes to get Bette and Dot. Dandy loves Bette but she loves her sister more. They leave with Jimmy, back to the show. 

Jimmy calls out Elsa after his Nirvana jam session. Then the twins have a chitchat with Jimmy and her. But the twins are covering for Elsa, weird... 

Desiree and Ethel go to see the doctor, then find out he was killed... my guess, Dell. 

Richard Spencer calls out Dell about being at the gay bar, High Noon.He is now black mailing Dell into killing a freak. 

Jimmy and Maggie are snuggling together. Love connection, Maggie is pissed and thinks Jimmy wont leave the freak show. 

Dell goes after Amazon Eve but she beats him down and says, "Who's the strong man now?" Oooohh kill em, Eve!

Ethel finds out about this attack and says we should kill Dell.  Ethel says he has to pay, Jimmy thinks he can handle him. If doesn't, the women of the freak show are killing him.

Elsa meets with the twins, she asks about what they want. Bette wants to be a comedian and caviar and 20% off the top. Dot says 50%. Elsa takes the deal.

Jimmy takes Dell to the bar. Jimmy talks about his gloves. Jimmy knows that Dell is his dad. Then Jimmy and Dell have a bonding moment. The two drunkies try to tell Elsa how it is when they come back loud and drunk. 

Only Child, Penny, goes back to get her stuff, she says she is in love with Paul. Her father says that Morris is here for her send off. The man tattoos her face, cuts her hair and forks her tongue. 

Bette got a new look, blonde. Elsa wrote Dot a note to ask what she truly wants. Dot tells Elsa she wants the surgery from a man in Chicago.

Richard Spencer and Elsa have a dinner together. Elsa says to send the girls up to Chicago so they are out of Elsa's life forever. Richard suggest a mercy killing. 

Dell kills Ma Petite! He suffocates her and breaks her neck. Ends with her in a jar, in a museum.

OMG! Jimmy sang Nirvana! Twitter was stoked about it. I loved it. So great to hear some Nirvana on the show. The song covers have been a successful part of this season's show. I am always hoping for there to be a new one each episode.

Penny's Dad 

Penny clearly has some daddy issues. When her dad was having some man tattoo her face and fork her tongue, the people on Twitter were tweaking. How could someone's dad do that to his daughter?!

Ma Petite 

Well, we all saw it coming. Someone had to die in this episode of AHS. But Ma Petite was that one who had to go. Twitter was so pissed. Everyone thought she was getting killed last week but she survived. Maybe it was foreshadow, regadless Twitter was crying.

Bullseye

Hello again everyone, this is Kaylee Swearingen just reporting about what happened during American Horror Story's latest episode "Bullseye" from Nov. 11th. 

Quick Rewind 

It is Elsa's birthday and the freaks all got her gifts. At the party everyone is concerned where the twins are. Elsa is making it seem like the twins just got up and left. Elsa hooks up with Paul. 

Paul is also in love with the nurse from the first episode. He seems to be a player. Hmm...

Dandy is in love with the twins and wants to marry them. Bette loves Dandy, she thinks he is so sweet and lovely. Dot wants to get the surgery money from Dandy. She is still in love with Jimmy. No matter how good he is as a boyfriend to Bette and Dot, he gets crazy and freaks out. Dandy told the twins a seceret. He tried to tell Dot that he was the one who saved those kids from the killer clown, not Jimmy. Dandy wanted to hear a seceret from Dot, she refused. In turn, Dandy freaked out on the Twins.

Maggie's accomplise Stanley thinks that they should cut off Jimmy's lobster hands. But Maggie diverges and thinks that they should take Petite. 

Elsa talks about asylum to Pepper in her rant. Elsa was persuadinge everyone how she was not the cause of Bette and Dot disappearring. BUT SHE IS. Elsa makes the freaks prove that they trust her. She said she has to have someone strapped onto the bullseye, and she will throw knives at them. Paul nomiates himself after Jimmy does. Elsa ends up stabbing Paul in the stomach, seems like she did it on purpose. 

All the Tweets about Petite

Maggie takes Petite to the shed where she puts her in the jar. Thankfully Maggie does not kill Petite, she says they were hunting fire flies. Maggie now is in love with Jimmy and they want to run away together. But partner, Stanley, finds her trying to leave and decides they are taking Jimmy hands.  

Dandy is heartbroke over the twin not liking him. very dramatic. He says, "I was never destined to feel love". Dandy thinks he has found his purpose. He thinks he is here to bring death. Jimmy end up shows up at Dandy's house. 

We discover that Elsa had a sister that died. Her parents were sad and they more sad because they were reminded about the child they lost because Elsa was still alive. The freak show was her way of creating her own family. Elsa says that Effil is like the sister she never had. Effil tells Elsa if she finds out that Elsa was lying, she would kill her. 

What will happen next, well clearly Jimmy knows where the twins are and is going to put it together once he talks to the Twins. Is Elsa going to be killed by the freaks? Is Dandy going to realize he still loves the twins? Clearly we need to watch this week's episode on Wednesday, Nov. 19th.

With Elsa going on her rants about how she is not the reason the twins are gone, leaves twitter thinking Elsa is insane. Especially after she thinks the best way to show trust is through throwing knives at her family member on the bullseye wheel. Twitter thinks that Elsa is off her rocker with gesture. 

When Maggie thinks that they should take Petite Twitter had a meltdown, twice. Once when Maggie suggests taking Petite and tells Stanley how they should do it. The second time, when Maggie does take Petite to the shed. Everyone was scared that Maggie was actually going to kill her. Luckily she was not murdered!

Paul being a player had Twitter on a roll. Everyone was shocked and stoked that Paul was playing Elsa. It was just something that no one saw coming. Paul still staying in contact with the nurse from the first episode was also shocking. Regardless, Twitter was shocked but they were even more exctied and proud that Paul was getting so much action.

Three American Horror Story Predictions and Top Five American HorrorStory Twitter Accounts to Follow

After three successful seasons they are onto the fourth. American Horror Story's fourth season starts October 8th. FreakShow is the theme and title for season four and it is already getting people to cringe. There is a 16 second trailer that has created some buzz on social media. Here is the full length trailer of FreakShow. The video was posted on YouTube from FX Network exactly a month before the season starts. 

Predictions

So FreakShow starts in about two weeks and these are just three predictions of the show that I have. 

1. The advertisements will have nothing to do with show

Yet again AHS has beautiful graphics for their advertisements. These ads have always thrown me for a loop. It seems like the ads basically have nothing to do with the show. Coven had the most eerie opening credits with witches dancing around a fire and a lady doing vodoo, and we never see them in the show. In Asylum the all white nurse with black leaking from her eyes never appeared. Asylum's intro to the show was little more relevant. We see the connections because the settings are the same. But the opening credits to the show were filmed in a totally different style compared to the actual episodes. This style is also the same in the first season of AHS. It upsets me because of how creepy that style is and yet the show does not keep that consistency for the episodes. Regardless I do love the American Horror Story. 

 2. There will be multiple stories connecting  

From the last three seasons, there seems to be a trend with having stories from the past and from other people all connect to the current story. Obviously we need to have some background to fully undestand the characters. But in AHS there are literally stories that could stand alone as their own show. From the last season we learned about all the wicked things that Madame Delphine LaLaurie had done to become trapped in that box and her connection to Marie Laveau. Another story within Coven was about the Axeman. Obviously we need to know these backgrounds but sometimes I think they get a little bit confusing with too much information. Aslyum had the story about the aslyum and then it also had a story about Kit Walker and his story about being taken to the asylum and what happened. But Aslyum also had the story about Lana Winters the reporter who had to escape. Season one also had multiple stories connecting with the history of all the owners of the murder house and of course it has the story of the current owners. Clearly the past is always a key element for the AHS series. 

3. Someone will die immediately 

Of course it is American Horror Story, people are going to die. But I predict that there will at least one person that dies within the first episode of the show. In the last season, Coven, Zoe's boyfriend died within the first epsiode due to sex. In Asylum, Adam Levine does not die but he gets his arm rippped off by putting his hand down a shoot to take a photo for his wife. In the Pilot episode of season one, Troy and his brother both die within five minutes of show from doing a bit too much exploring. I think it is safe to say someone is going to die right away within the first episode of FreakShow.
